engagements

The wind has blown, the rain has fallen, and finally the weather cooperated so that we could photograph this adorable couple.   Katy and Steve are planning wine and champagne themed wedding that will be in September at the Highlands Ranch Mansion.  

To the get the party started we decided to incorporate the Tiffany champagne flutes they received as an early wedding gift and their favorite champagne into the engagement shoot and I couldn't be more excited about how they came out!  

After we had wrapped up their shoot ,Katy and Steve thought they'd walk around City Park for a while and enjoy the rest of the evening when a couple all suited up in running gear approached them and gave them a rose wishing them luck in their marriage!  It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen and  snapped a picture just in time :)

Here in Colorado, we don't think anything much about snow.  It snows, it melts, it snows again and the vicious cycle continues.  But for Lori and Angel (it's pronounced on-hel, just fyi) it was quite a different story.  This adorable couple lives in Texas, so snow is a rarity, but to add insult to injury this was the first time Angel had ever gotten to play in the snow!!!  

Angel is from Puerto Rico and he was more excited than I can describe about having a snowball fight and making snow angels while Lori was enjoying the snow as well.

I met Lori and Angel through my sister because (get ready to be confused...) Lori is my sister's-boyfriend's-sister (Whew!)  We first met when my husband and I went salsa dancing in Denver with the whole group and we were absolutely amazed at how incredible this couple can dance!

After 4 years of dating, working on race cars together and traveling between Conifer and Golden to see each other; Anna and Hunter wanted to have photos to remember this amazing time in their lives.   They haven't ever had professional pictures done together but wanted to for themselves and also for Hunter's mom :)  

If you can't tell from the photos below they were the cutest couple and were very much naturals in front of the camera.

Some of you may know, but Anna is JM PhotoArt's Associate Photographer and her guy Hunter works in the auto industry installing lift kits on cars and trucks.  More excitingly,  they also are part of the Jett Lagg Racing Team and race dragsters and even have Jet engine car!!!!  

How crazy is that? We'll be posting pictures later today with the Jett Car for you to see (so don't miss out on coming back later)
