I cannot believe I had never visited Seattle before this last weekend!  The city was stunning, so alive, and more incredible than I can really describe.   My friends Louie (Melissa) and Jake had me come take their engagement pictures and it was a fantastic excuse to hang out once again!  Their apartment was the cutest place ever.  It felt like a little Italian village and they have a big beautiful dock where we sat and had coffee and breakfast overlooking the water.  

As far as the shoot goes,  the weather was perfect!  Some people say Washington is dreary,  I say it a photographers playground!  Honestly,  Jake had done some homework about the types of pictures he wanted and he really wanted to capture a picture where he was jumping like a rockstar and then there was pretty Melissa as a bystander.  This first picture was his absolute favorite.  They had the whole weekend planned out and basically allowed me to be creative try out anything I wanted!

We also went wedding dress shopping and it is totally different being on the other side of it.  It was fun getting to be part of that and not that I really helped her, but just getting to spend time together was totally worth the quick trip.   So,  with out further adieu (sp?!) here's in a glimpse in the beautiful couple soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Brownsfield...  :)
